Vodafone Meltdown and leave callers reeling

Customers of the mobile company Vodafone were left reeling nowadays when parts of its network service collapsed this afternoon.

The Vodafone web site expressed that customers living in government agency were experiencing “issues accessing 2G voice services and 3G voice and data” which Vodafone was “working to resolve” the issue.

The network’s free customer-service line had a 30-minute waiting period for patrons wanting to sit down with a Vodafone exponent.

By 6.30pm tonight the client line had been closed. However, a Vodafone voice aforementioned the outstanding fault on the 2G network was resolved about 9.30pm and traditional services all told areas were being rehabilitated.

Vodafone’s Twitter feed was inundated with customers making an attempt to access knowledge and to receive and make voice calls from their mobile phones.

A client of Vodafone, prophet Tariq, 51, aforementioned a member of the Vodafone technical service team had told him the complete government agency network had gone down which they did not know when it might go up again.

This is not the primary time Vodafone customers have been left without adequate coverage. In late 2010, thousands of customers complained as a group about drop-outs, poor reception and capability issues.

The company has lost 600,000 customers since mid-2010, The Sydney Morning Herald reported last month.

Vodafone’s statement

“Vodafone engineers instantly responded, and rehabilitated knowledge services to customers who are victimisation threeG mobile phones at around 3.30pm today. 3G voice services have been operational as traditional and were unaffected by the fault.

“Engineers have known one remaining fault and are operating to revive services to customers with 2G handsets in affected areas as soon as doable. we tend to apologise unreservedly to customers who have been inconvenience by this disruption to their mobile service.”
